Joining Airport Tennis from Halifax, Juan Barreto is Tennis Canada Coach 2 & Club Professional 2 certified, in addition Juan is an Instructor and CP1 Course Facilitator in the Atlantic region. Throughout his coaching career, he has been instrumental in developing players from their first introduction to tennis through to the provincial and national levels. Juan is the former Director of Progressive Performance Tennis for the Atlantic Tennis Centre.

Juan has helped lay the foundation for athletes who have gone on to become National Champions and earn selection to Tennis Canada’s National Training Centre (NTC) program and managed over 250 Progressive Players along side the Atlantic Tennis Centre team. At Airport Tennis, he will lead the Progressive Programs, working closely with coaches, players, and families to create a disciplined, engaging, and fun learning environment while building a strong pathway for long-term player development.
