TEAMS SELECTION & TRYOUTS
Team selection at The Supreme Court is based on application, with all players required to be active members; placements are determined using a combination of recent competitive results in league play (past two years), provincial/national/international rankings, WTN or UTR ratings, and, where required, in-person tryouts, with final selections made at the club’s discretion based on these factors.
Winter Teams:
- Men’s “Majors 2” Sunday Night Team (5.0 level)
- Men’s “A1” Sunday Night Team (4.5 – 5.0 level)
- Men’s “A2” Sunday Night Team (4.5-)
- Ladies Saturday Team Division 1 (4.0 level)
- Ladies Saturday Team Division 2 (3.5 – 4.0 level)
When team applications open each season, interested individuals will be required to email the following information to the team selection committee:
- Your full name
- Your WTN or UTR rating if applicable
- Links to your past results in sanctioned leagues (ICTA, TLTL, TMTL, Winter Leagues etc.) over the last two years if applicable
Applications without the information listed above will not be accepted. We get it, you are awesome at tennis and we think so too however, the information you send in is important not only for your potential team selection but can influence other selections as well. Thank you for the cooperation here!
PLEASE NOTE: We feel it necessary to outline that it can be very challenging to be named to a team at TSC, we are fortunate to have many very strong members making the application process quite challenging. As a club, we wish we had more competitive opportunity for all of our members however, as a relatively small four court club it is challenging to meet the demands for everything we would like to do!
